By accessing this School, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

This Policy applies whether you engage us to provide our consultancy services (the “Consultancy Services”), access our website, https://adolescent-safeguarding-consultancy.teachable.com/ (“Website”), download any of our free resources from our Website (the “free resources”), sign up to one of our Facebook groups, make a purchase on our Website or sign up to our training course(s) (“Course”) (collectively referred to as “Services”).




2. Who we are

When we refer to the 'School' or the Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd, we are referring to the training and consultancy service in relation to safeguarding.


The Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy is a Limited company, registered with United Kingdom's registrar of companies under company number 13765837 Registered at: Vale House, Parson Lane, Crockerton, BA12 8AR UK.

The Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy is a Limited Liability Partnership, with two Co-directors, Helena Wykes-dart and Laura Dixey.

3. Use License

  1. Permission is granted, unless stated otherwise by the Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd, to temporarily download one copy of any downloadable materials on the School’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
  2. modify or copy the materials;
  3. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
  4. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s web site;

9. Governing Law

Any claim relating to the School’s website shall be governed by the laws of the School Owner’s home jurisdiction without regard to its conflict of law provisions. In relation to the Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd, the company is governed by English Law and any dispute will be heard in the English courts.




10. Services

The School, The Adolescent Safeguarding Consultancy Ltd, provide a variety of training courses, packages and consultancy in relation to safeguarding and other related topics. They do not guarantee that any person who partakes in the Schools services, will then engage in safe practice or in accordance with required safeguarding policies. The length of time in which you have access to the service purchased will be displayed on the website at the time of checking out.




11. Prices, Fees & Payments

The prices of the service you are purchasing from this School are displayed on the website when the Student clicks to pay on the chosen course/service. Any exceptions to this or bespoke fees will be agreed between the School and the Student prior to the purchase.




12. Liability

If you are a business, the Schools total liability will be limited to the fees you have paid for the product/service.

If you are a consumer purchasing the Schools product/service, the Schools total liability will be limited to two times the fees you have paid.




13. Consumer Rights

Unless the service/product provided by the School is bespoke, there is a 14 day cooling off period. Further to this, where the product is made available to the consumer immediately, or the product is available for a digital download, or where the product/service has been accessed by the consumer, the cooling off period does not apply.
